A website with no doors left open

Most sites are not hacked because somebody had it in for them, but because a known hole stood open. We build so that those holes are not there in the first place: fast, sparing with your visitors' data, and hosted on our own server in Germany.

  • Build, hosting and upkeep in one monthly price
  • No page builder and no stack of plugins wanting maintenance
  • Fonts, scripts and images served from your own domain
  • As a rule no cookie banner, because nothing reaches third parties
  • We make your changes for you — or you edit yourself, if you prefer
  • Cancellable monthly, no minimum term
The difference

What a content management system costs does not appear on the invoice

A CMS is convenient — and in return it is a permanent target. Every extension, every theme and every login window has to be maintained, for as long as the site exists.

With a CMS

Forever your turn

Core, extensions and theme all need updates. Miss one and you have a publicly known hole sitting on the internet. The login window is reachable around the clock, and around the clock it is tried.

With a CMS

Other people's servers involved

Fonts from Google, scripts from a CDN, a page builder loading third-party content: visitor data leaves before anyone has clicked anything — and the cookie notice becomes compulsory.

With us

Nothing standing open

No database, no login, no extensions. Finished files sit on the server, everything comes from your domain, and a strict security policy forbids the browser from loading anything foreign in the first place.

Why we build this way

We have seen what the other end looks like

In 2026 we replaced a hacked Joomla site. What stood there was not merely annoying — it was under someone else's control.

The damage reaches further than the page

Two subpages had been replaced with gambling advertising, and a further spam link sat inside an article. In the source code was a stranger's Google verification — the attacker had taken over the owner's Search Console. A hacked site therefore costs not only clean-up time but visibility and reputation.

Rebuilding is not enough — you have to clear up too

Rebuilding a hacked site and carrying the old content across often brings the problem straight back with it. We checked every file we took over before it was allowed onto the new server. That is the invisible part of the work — and the part that matters.

And it has been quiet since

The site has run since July 2026 without incident. The owner still keeps her own dates, only now through her own calendar rather than a login window standing on the internet around the clock being tried.

Your inbox stays quiet

Enquiry forms attract junk — on one site we look after, 26 automated submissions arrived within two days, not one of them from a human being. We looked into where they came from and built the defences to match. Since then what lands in the inbox is what is actually an enquiry.

Your emails get through

When a form is abused, the reputation of your sending address suffers — and eventually your own quotation lands in a customer’s spam folder. So there is a cap from the outset on how much a site can send at all.

No email address to harvest

Your address sits on the page so that people can click it and harvesting scripts cannot find it.

A newsletter that holds up in court

Whoever signs up confirms it with a click — and that click is at the same time the record of consent you need if it is ever disputed. Without that record a newsletter turns into a legal warning rather quickly.

The usual objection

„Without a CMS I can't change anything“

You can. You simply do not get an extra portal with a password for it; you use the channels you already have.

Dates from your calendar

You enter an appointment where you would anyway — in the calendar on your phone or your computer. The site fetches the entries and displays them, several times an hour. There is nothing extra to maintain and nothing to forget.

Changes by email

Whatever should change, you write to us. Text changes, new pages, swapped images — that is included in the monthly price and asks nothing technical of you.

Videos and podcast by themselves

A new episode on YouTube or in your podcast feed appears on the site the next morning. You publish as before, and the site follows.

And what you change, your visitors see. Somebody still being shown last fortnight's date because their browser kept an old copy does not happen with us.

Without an editing area

We do it for you

You write to us saying what should change, and it is done. For most sites that is the more comfortable route — and it is included in the price.

With an editing area

You write it yourself

If something new comes up constantly — vacancies, offers, news — we set up an area of your own in which you maintain text and images.

Our way

Kept small, looked after by us

Not a bought-in system with a thousand settings, but exactly the fields your site has. We build it ourselves, keep it deliberately narrow and keep watch over it — so convenience does not turn into a way in.

The editing area costs €69 a month instead of €49 — everything else stays the same. Whether you need it we settle beforehand, quite plainly: for a site that changes twice a year it is needless work for you.

What your visitors notice

The page is there before anyone waits for it

Speed is not an end in itself. Anyone made to wait three seconds is gone — and Google remembers.

There at once, even on a phone with a poor signal

Because the page sits finished on the server and nothing is fetched from other suppliers, it appears promptly even on a weak connection. Which is exactly when someone out and about is looking for your opening hours or your phone number.

Readable for all your visitors

Larger text, stronger colours, a night view, read-aloud: aids for people who see less well belong to the site with us rather than being a bought-in add-on that slows the loading. For associations and public bodies in Germany that is now also a question of the rules.

In a change of site, your look stays yours

When we replace an existing site, your customers should not see the difference but feel it: same imagery, same colours, same structure — only faster and without the brakes. You set the frame and we keep to it.

No ballast on your bill

Sites that have grown over the years often carry bought-in components for things that can be done lightly. On one current project we replaced four of them and saved roughly 99 per cent of the weight being carried — same appearance, more features.

Prices

One monthly price with everything in it

No build fee, no hourly rates for changes, no minimum term. You pay monthly — and stop when you want to.

Businesses
49/ month

Build, hosting in Germany, upkeep and your changes — included.

Non-profit organisations
25/ month

For associations, foundations and public sector bodies — the same scope.

With an editing area
69/ month

If you would like to maintain text and images yourself. We set the area up, show you around it and keep watch over it.

All amounts plus VAT. Included are building the site, running it on our server in Germany, security upkeep and text and image changes within the usual scope. Scope and number of pages are agreed beforehand. You can cancel monthly; there is no minimum term. For non-profit organisations wanting an editing area we are glad to quote separately. Fees for your domain name and separately commissioned extras — photography, copywriting or an online shop, for instance — are billed separately.

Plainly said

What we deliberately do not do

Not every enquiry suits this way of building. So that you know beforehand rather than afterwards:

No off-the-shelf payment widgets

The usual pay button announces your visitors to an outside supplier the moment the page opens. We solve it differently — the same convenience for the customer, without their data being collected along the way.

No cookie banner where none is needed

A notice window is no substitute for collecting less data. We build so that nothing reaches third parties — and then nobody has to click anything away before they are allowed to see your site.

Newsletter sending through a specialist

Bulk mail is a craft in itself. We bring in a supplier who does that rather than building it ourselves — so your mail actually gets delivered.

No extension nobody knows about

What runs on your site we either build ourselves or choose deliberately. You do not get a stack of third-party modules that in the end nobody can account for.

Frequently asked

Questions about websites

What does a website from ITN-Network cost?

€49 per month plus VAT, or €25 per month plus VAT for non-profit organisations. If you would like to maintain text and images yourself, it is €69 per month. Each covers building the site, hosting it on our server in Germany, ongoing upkeep and your change requests. There is no one-off build fee and no minimum term — you can cancel monthly.

Who qualifies for the non-profit price?

Associations, foundations and organisations with recognised charitable status, along with public sector bodies, pay €25 per month plus VAT. Get in touch and we will quickly establish whether yours qualifies.

Why not WordPress?

Because every login window and every added function is a door that has to be maintained for good. Miss one update and a publicly known weakness is sitting on the internet — and that is exactly what gets searched for automatically. Our sites do not have those doors. We replaced a hacked site in 2026; it has run without incident since.

Can I change content myself?

Yes, in two ways. The easy one: you write to us and it is done — included in the monthly price, with nothing technical asked of you. On top of that, dates flow in from your calendar and new videos or podcast episodes reach the site by themselves. If something new comes up constantly in your organisation, we set up an editing area of your own where you maintain text and images — that is €69 a month.

What is the editing area — a CMS after all?

It serves the same purpose but is deliberately the opposite of a large off-the-shelf system: no extensions, no themes, no thousand settings — just the fields your site actually has. We build it ourselves, keep it as narrow as possible and look after it continuously. A way in is still a way in — which is why it exists only where it genuinely earns its keep, and why we keep watch over it.

Does the site need a cookie banner?

As a rule, no. We load no fonts from Google, no scripts from other people's servers and no trackers — everything comes from your own domain. With no cookies and nothing passed to third parties, there is nothing for anyone to consent to. Whether that holds in your case is something we check before going live.

How fast is a site like this?

Fast enough that nobody waits for it. The page does not have to be assembled on every visit, and nothing is fetched from other suppliers. You notice it most on a phone with a poor signal — which is exactly when someone is out and about looking for your address or your opening hours.

Is the site accessible?

Aids for people who see less well are part of the site with us: larger text, stronger colours, a night view and read-aloud. They belong to the page rather than being a bought-in add-on that slows the loading. Whether your organisation additionally needs a formal accessibility statement — for public bodies and many businesses in Germany that is now a duty — we settle beforehand together.

What happens to my old site and its addresses?

Your existing addresses stay valid: anyone clicking an old link or finding you through Google lands on the right new page, and your standing in search results is not lost. Everything we carry over from the old site we check first — particularly where there has already been an incident.

Do I get an enquiry form?

Yes — and one that keeps your inbox quiet. Enquiry forms attract automated junk; on one site we look after, 26 such submissions arrived across two days, not one of them from a human being. We looked into where they came from and built the defences to match. Since then what reaches the owner is what is actually an enquiry.

Where is the site hosted?

On our own server in Germany — not at a reseller and not abroad. If you want, we look after your email and your domain name too. Then you have one point of contact for site, mail and address, rather than three suppliers pointing at one another.
